Catalogue notes

Joseph Hill qualified as an architect in 1913 and set up his independent practice as an architect in London the same year. He was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects (ARIBA) in 1913 and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA) in 1921. He was Architect to Hodgson's Kingston Brewery Co., Ltd. in the 1920s and Supervising Architect to the Surbiton Housing Scheme and the Odeon cinema Surbiton, 1934.
