A tall pair of Martin Brothers stoneware Bird vases by Robert Wallace Martin, dated 1887, slender, shouldered form, incised with flying cranes over rushes and iris stems, one crane standing have caught a fish in its beak, glazed in shades of brown, highlighted with white on a buff ground, the cylindrical necks with scroll foliage pattern, incised 4-1887 R W Martin & Bros, London & Southall repaired damages to necks, 35.5cm. high, (2)
