A Doulton Lambeth stoneware jug by Hannah Barlow, dated 1879, tapering cylindrical form, incised with a broad band of sheep grazing and resting, between applied floret borders and incised stylised foliage bands, glazed in shades of blue, green and ochre on a buff ground, applied silver rim, impressed and incised marks, incised HB monogram to side, hallmarks London 1878, 24cm. high
