A walnut and ebony inlaid mirror designed by Edward Barnsley, the rectangular wall mirror with carved and inlaid ebony string band to the border and fine double border of fruit wood chevrons, with panelled back, bevelled mirror glass, unsigned 80 x 64.5cm. Provenance The Estate of Cyril Franklin, British and Continental Decorative Arts from 1850 to the Present day Christie's King Street, 30th October 1997, lot 222. which quotes Ref no.1925/59.
