A rare Martin Brothers stoneware teapot, cover and stand by Robert Wallace Martin, dated 1879, tapering form with applied handle and spout, incised with bands of scrolling foliage bordering a central band of trellis, in blue, brown and green, the domed cover with ball finial, and an en suite footed teapot stand, incised to the rim with chevron, incised 4 11 79 R W Martin, London & Southall to teapot, stand dated 22..12.79, cover dated 1880, small glaze nick to neck rim, firing fault to stand, 22cm. high (total), (3)
