An early Martin Brothers stoneware Owl jar and cover by Robert Wallace Martin, dated 1877, triangular section, modelled in relief with three owls, one asleep, two with eyes slightly open, the cover modelled with a white mouse, glazed in colours 12 77 R W Martin, London & Southall, and numbered 3 to both cover and base, old damages, 13.5cm. high
