An Ivory figure from a model by Ludwig Walther, on onyx base signed in the ivory 14cm. high Walther worked with Ferdinand Preiss at Preiss & Kassler from 1907 and after the first world war. He was a trained ivory carver. This small figure draws elements from Preiss figures such as Nude Playing Two Pipes and also the variations of Youth .
