A Bagot Aborigonal Reserve stoneware teapot and cover by Michael Cardew, incised with a simple grass motif under tenmoku glaze impressed seal marks 16 cm. high Bagot Pottery was established by Michael Cardew and Ivan McMeekin near Darwin in the Northern Territories, Australia in 1968. The Pottery was destroyed in 1974 by Cyclone Tracy.
