'Theres No Place Like Home' a hand-coloured lithograph designed by C.F.A Voysey, framed, image 63 x 55cm.
Provenance
Jamie Hunter-Blair, Blairquhan, Maybole, Ayrshire
This series of hand coloured prints were produced for the Central Liquor Control Board, between 1915-1918, both to decorate pubs and canteens but also as an attempt to educate and control the burgeoning drinking habits of the Edwardians. They reflect many of Voysey's traditional imagery and are said to have been hand coloured by Voysey himself.
