A tall Pilkington's Lancastrian vase and cover by William S Mycock, shape 2229, painted with a galleons at full sail either side of a heraldic lion shield in copper and ruby lustre on a lime green ground impressed mark, artist cypher and datemark 1911, original paper label,small glaze frit to base rim probably in manufacture, faint hairline to rim of cover 43cm. high
