Painted with four large panels enclosing insects in flight around sprays of chrysanthemum, peony, prunus and camellia, all below a complex band of ruyi-heads, together with a wood stand and reticulated wood cover, 18.5cm. (3)
Provenance: from the collection of Alfred Morrison (1821-1897) and thence by descent to Lord Margadale of Islay, at Fonthill House, Tisbury, Wiltshire.
