A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE ARMORIAL CUSTARD CUP AND COVER

Painted to one side in enamels and gilt with a roundel enclosing the arms of Lawrence impaling Ilbery, set with an entwined strap handle, the cover decorated with a continuous foliate scroll encircling an applied finial shaped as a fruit, the underside of the cover with a paper label for Christie's, 23rd October 1978, lot 100, 9cm high overall.
