He sits in a relaxed pose with a cheerful expression on his face, dressed in bright turquoise and cherry-coloured robes decorated with blossoms and abstract designs, he holds a string of beads in one hand and a large sack in the other, the base with a four character impressed mark, together with a wood stand, 25.5cm high. (2)

Provenance: from an English private collection, acquired in Asia c.1920, and thence by descent.
