The deep rounded sides decorated in a thick black glaze which stops short of the foot, the glaze at the everted rim of a warm brown tone, the well with an old paper label reading 'CH 59', together with a lacquer stand, all contained in a fitted Japanese wood box and cover, 10cm dia. (2)
