Fine Asian Art

This November, we are pleased to offer four pieces from the collection of Sir Richard Henry Chenevix Trench (1876-1954), including a rare Chinese double-gourd 'dragon' vase, six-character Jiaqing mark and of the period 1796-1820, the pair to lot 127 in our May 2025 sale, and two rare Chinese Imperial green-glazed 'anhua' dragon bowls, six-character Kangxi mark and of the period 1662-1722. 

Other highlights include an Xuande mark and period blue and white 'dragon' bowl or mortar, purchased from John Berwald, a rare Chinese Longquan funerary jar, along with Tibetan and Nepalese Buddhist treasures from the collection of Mr Nicholas Squire (1949–2024), Suffolk, acquired from Spink & Son and Ashencaen & Leonov.

Each lot is subject to a Buyer's Premium of 27% plus VAT at 20% (totalling 32.4% inclusive) on the first £20,000 of the hammer price and 26% plus VAT at 20% (31.2% inclusive) thereafter.
