QING DYNASTY
Raised on three elephant-head feet with bejewelled headdresses, the body decorated with bands of key fret and scrolling lotus tendrils, set with two elephant-trunk handles, the openwork cover with further scrolling lotus and surmounted by a recumbent caparisoned elephant topped with a boshanlu finial, with a paper label for the Finer Collection 'CB 12', 4.3kg, 34cm.
