A CHINESE LONGQUAN CELADON MALLET VASE, BANCHUIPING
PROBABLY SONG DYNASTY

The cylindrical body tapering slightly towards the recessed base and surmounted by a tall neck with a wide everted rim, covered overall in an greyish-celadon glaze suffused with a network of crackle, 16.5cm.

Purchased in Japan c.2000.
