A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'FLOWERS' STEM CUP
17TH CENTURY

Raised on a tapering foot painted with three lingzhi sprigs, the U-shaped bowl painted to the exterior with peony and lotus blooms, the interior painted with a further floral roundel, with a six-character Xuande mark, with a wood stand. (2)

Formally in the collection of Mr and Mrs M S Whitehouse.
