A CHINESE BLUE AND YELLOW 'FIVE DRAGONS' DISH
SIX-CHARACTER DAOGUANG MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1821-50
Decorated with a five-clawed dragon pursuing a flaming pearl amongst swirling flames and cloud scrolls, with two further dragons to the cavetto; the reverse similarly decorated with two dragons above a band of lotus petal lappets, all in translucent yellow on an underglaze blue wash ground, 25cm.
