A Chinese porcelain Dutch-decorated tea canister and cover early 18th century, the flattened rectangular form with chamfered corners, originally decorated with stylized floral panels within wide diaper borders, the shoulders with flowers issuing from rockwork, later-decorated with baskets of flowers in the Dutch doré manner and with smaller panels of a fisherman beside buildings, reserved on a rich ground of red leaves on gold, further red, green and gilt highlights to the existing floral decoration, later marked 1172h in black to the underside, 11cm.
