A Chinese Dutch-decorated moulded saucer dish c.1600, the original painted in underglaze blue with two small boats before figures on a bridge in a pine landscape, later decorated in Holland with gilt and enamel highlights to the main decoration, the fluted rim with red and gilt phoenix between elaborate foliate and cloud scrolls in coloured enamels, above a stylized petal border in red, gilt and green, the underside rim with roundels of a bird before clouds between flowerhead mon and leafy tendrils, 20.6cm dia.
