A Vauxhall porcelain coffee cup c.1758-65, originally painted in blue with a low pagoda beneath pine and other trees, with further tall trees issuing from low mountains and rocks, later-highlighted in a London atelier with pink blossom and green leaves to some of the trees, the pagoda extended and with gilt detailing, 6cm.

Provenance: the Helen Espir Collection, no. 816. Purchased from Phillips, The Watney Collection Part III, lot 1149.
