A Chinese porcelain English-decorated bottle vase 1st half 18th century, with original decoration of three Dogs of Fo in underglaze copper red, later-enamelled with three Chinese figures between, one holding a bird, one a spear and leading one dog by a string, the last a plate, the neck with flowerhead mon beneath stiff leaves in iron red, 15.5cm.

Provenance: the Helen Espir Collection, no. 340. Purchased from Sotheby's, 6th May 1994, lot 207.
