A panoramic photograph of Shanghai taken from Pudong c.1924, in the original black lacquer frame, 18cm x 144cm.

The photograph can be dated from the Yokohama Specie Bank Building which is hidden by scaffolding and still under construction. The foundations for the bank were laid in 1923, and the building was completed in July 1924.
