A pair of Chinese armorial dishes 18th century, decorated en grisaille with the arms of Nicolas Fouquet, the Superintendent of Finances under Louis XIV of France, each depicting a squirrel in a central oval panel encircled by scrolling acanthus, the rim with a band of peacocks and swathes, 22.2cm.
