A Chinese red cinnabar lacquer quatrefoil jardinière 18th century, carved in relief to the exterior with four rectangular panels, each depicting Shoulao in a rocky garden with two attendant boys amidst trees and rocks, with elaborate scrolling foliate lotus borders reserved on a cell diaper ground, the body raised on four short ruyi feet, 21cm.
