A rare Chinese pale celadon jade carving of a lotus rhizome Qianlong 1736-95, the central stem with four irregular lobes encircled by leafy tendrils, flowers and seed pods, all resting on a flattened veined leaf, the stems all tied together at one end, raised on a reticulated hardwood stand carved as crashing waves, 15.2cm.
