A Chinese blue and white birthday bowl six character Daoguang mark and of the period 1821-50, painted to the exterior with four medallions containing the characters wan shou wu jiang, encircled by a scrolling lotus design and the Eight Buddhist Emblems, all within borders of spirals and lappets, the interior with a shou roundel encircled by the Eight Buddhist Emblems, 18.3cm.
