A Chinese famille rose hu-shaped vase Daoguang or later, decorated with a battle scene with figures on horseback amidst rocks and flowers, with borders in iron-red and gilt of ruyi, chevrons and key fret, the base with an iron-red hallmark which reads xie zhu zhu red zhi (made for the master of the xie bamboo), 18.2cm.
