SIX CHINESE TEA BOWLS AND SAUCERS

YONGZHENG AND QIANLONG

Comprising: a pair of famille rose tea bowls and saucers painted with deer amidst flowers and lingzhi, a pair of famille rose tea bowls and saucers decorated with floral sprays and large ruyi-heads, a famille rose tea bowl and saucer with two-headed phoenix amongst large peony blooms, and a tea bowl and saucer painted with blossoms in blue and white enamels, 11.5cm max. (12)

Provenance: the tea bowl and saucer decorated with phoenix formerly from the collection of Mr and Mrs Robert de Strycker, sold by Antiquaire De Donquer-Bruxelles on 6th June 1945; both pairs of tea bowls and saucers formerly in a European private collection.
