THREE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE MUGS
QIANLONG 1736-95
The largest painted with peony and fruiting lychee, the loop handle terminating in a gilt ruyi-head, another decorated with a scholar and ladies holding books and a musical instrument in a landscape, with an attendant holding a horse's reins beside them, the smallest painted with the arms of Armstrong of Newcastle upon Tyne between floral sprays, with a gilt chain band encircling the rim, 15.9cm max.
