A CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE GREEN-GROUND 'THREE FRIENDS OF WINTER' SAUCER DISH

KANGXI 1662-1722

Painted to the centre with a stylised flower surrounded by four peach-shaped panels enclosing bamboo, prunus and pine, the underside decorated with iron-red and green petals, with a lotus mark to the base, 21cm.

Provenance: formerly the collection of the Nieuwenhuys van Hees family, one of the most famous collectors of Chinese porcelain in The Netherlands at the turn of the 20th century.
