Decorated with gentlemen and ladies holding fans admiring butterflies in a garden, with a thin wisp of pink cloud swirling above them, the reverse painted with pine growing amidst flowers and rocks, with a band of yellow to the mouthrim, the base a replacement, 27.8cm.
Provenance: from the collection of Joseph Alexander Thomson (d.c.1950) who worked in Hangzhou, and thence by descent.
