A CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE BALUSTER VASE AND COVER
KANGXI 1662-1722

The body painted with petal-shaped panels containing various blossoming flowers including peony, chrysanthemum, magnolia and lotus, pheasants, magpies, and precious objects, all below a diaper border, and a band of floral sprays, the domed cover decorated with gnarled cherry blossom branches and a fan-shaped cartouche with leafy flowers, surmounted by a lotus bud finial, 53cm overall.
