A large Chinese bronze figure of Xi Wang Mu, the Mother of the West Ming dynasty, seated on a throne with an elaborate phoenix headdress, down-cast eyes and holding a hu tablet in both hands before her chest, the elaborate flowing robes cast with scrolling foliage to the borders, traces of gilding and cold painting, 42.5cm.
