A fine Chinese pale celadon jade two-handled cup 18th/19th century, the U-shaped body carved in shallow relief to one side with a pair of quails perched upon rockwork amidst lotus and orchid, to the other with exotic long-tailed birds above peony and aster, the openwork foliate handles with loose rings, raised on a short foot, with an intricately carved reticulated hardwood five-legged stand, 12.5cm. (2)
