A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE BOWLS

LATE QING DYANSTY

Each painted with two quatrelobed landscape panels against a bright turquoise ground with peony flowerheads and scrolling foliage, with a band of ruyi-heads to the rim, four character Qianlong marks to the bases, together with wood stands, 16.3cm. (4)

Provenance: acquired in Hong Kong in the 1970s.
