19TH CENTURY

Each baring its fangs, with one paw resting on a puppy, decorated with green, yellow and aubergine enamels, raised on high rectangular plinths with plaques bearing six character Kangxi marks in underglaze blue, 41cm. (2)

Provenance: an English private collection, purchased from Paul M Peters Antiques, Harrogate on 16th June 1991, a copy of the original invoice is available.
