A fine Chinese pale celadon jade bitong Qianlong/Jiaqing

A fine Chinese pale celadon jade bitong Qianlong/Jiaqing, the cylindrical body with a slightly curved profile to the rim, the underside with a shallow indent, the stone an even tone and with a fine surface polish, 8.4cm high x 5.8cm dia. Provenance: the collection of the late June, Lady Horlick. Cf. Bahr, Old Chinese Porcelain and Works of Art in China, pl.CXIV, pp.154-5 for a related small jade bitong of superb quality.
