A Chinese red cinnabar lacquer lobed dish 16th century

A Chinese red cinnabar lacquer lobed dish 16th century, raised on a high foot and carved with eight young boys playing in a rocky, mountainous landscape beneath pine and willow trees within a continuous border of scrolling foliage, the reverse lacquered black, 32cm. Provenance: acquired c.1957 by the current owner's parents whilst stationed at The British Embassy in Beijing.
