A rare pair of Chinese inlaid black lacquer table screens Kangxi 1662-1722, each panel decorated in soapstone and mother of pearl with extensive landscape scenes with distant mountains, pagodas, willow and maple trees, and with small figures crossing bridges between islands, the reverses with butterflies and flowers, the hardwood stands with elaborate reticulated panels and spandrels, 35cm.
