A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE GARLIC MOUTH 'BOYS' VASE

REPUBLIC PERIOD

The body painted with a group of five boys in a garden picking peaches from a tree, the neck with blue bands of ruyi-heads and tassels and the foot with a key fret band, a four character mark which reads Ruo shen zhen zang to the base, 16cm.

Provenance: an English private collection, acquired in England in the 1990s.
