A LARGE CHINESE BLANC DE CHINE MODEL OF GUANYIN

18TH/19TH CENTURY

Standing, wearing flowing robes, her eyes downcast, her hands held together, adorned with a beaded necklace forming a cross at her chest and with an elaborate tiara and a tall chignon covered with a veil, raised on a lotus base, 43.5cm.

Provenance: from the Annette Worsley-Taylor family collection, acquired no later than the early 20th century and thence by descent.
