A small Yixing teapot and cover probably 19th century, enamelled with flowers in two shades of blue, painted mark to the cover, the base with three columns of calligraphy including a manuscript mark for Mengchen, inscribed 1848 in pencil, 11.8cm. (2) Provenance: the Arthur J Harris collection. Illustrated: Patrice Valfré, Yixing: Teapots for Europe, no.175. Exhibited: Yixing, L'Art de la Theiere Pourpre, Royal Brussels Museum, April - September 2001.
