A good Yixing hexagonal teapot and cover c.1700, applied with two pairs of dragons contesting flaming pearls of wisdom amidst cloud scrolls, the cover finial and handle joined by a gilt metal chain, unmarked, 13cm. (2) Provenance: from the private collection of Jos and Carla Ott. Purchased in 1968 for 10 gilders.
