Three Yixing teapots and covers 17th / 18th century, one moulded as banded bamboo, the other two variously applied with chrysanthemum, pine, bamboo, peony, prunus and birds, damages and restoration, 20cm max. (6) One teapot with a paper label for the Henry Sandon collection. Provenance: the Arthur J Harris collection. Illustrated: Patrice Valfré, Yixing: Teapots for Europe, no.253 (centre teapot). Exhibited: Yixing, L'Art de la Theiere Pourpre, Royal Brussels Museum, April - September 2001 (centre teapot).
