A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE OVOID VASE

C.1640

Painted with vases and jardinières containing arrangements of peony, rose and lotus, with dishes of peaches and finger citron and a large fish bowl, the tapering neck with a band of stiff leaves above an incised foliate border, raised on a fitted hardwood stand, 22.3cm. (2)

Provenance: formerly in the collection of Reverend Dr K H Uttley (1901- 1972).
