Painted with a river landscape with distant pagodas between two geometric borders, incised Japanese Palace inventory mark 'N1449', 9.7cm.
Provenance: formerly in the collection of Augustus the Strong (1670-1733), then a British private collection, purchased from Richard Marchant Limited, 5th December 1997, for £850, together with a copy of the invoice.
