The figure wears an elaborate headdress and sits on a high lotus throne in dhyanasana, the open base with a prayer scroll, 969g and 253g, 17cm and 13cm. (2)
Provenance: from the collection of Dr E Lionel Pavlo (1906-89), and thence by descent. Dr Pavlo was an American civil engineer who designed and built many bridges and other structures around the world.
