A RARE CHINESE WUCAI GARLIC-MOUTH 'DRAGON' BOTTLE VASE
KANGXI 1662-1722
The pear-shaped body decorated with a scaly three-clawed dragon chasing a flaming pearl, with its tail coiled around the slender neck, all below a border of triangular lappets to the mouth rim, 30.5cm.
Provenance: from a British private collection, purchased from Jan van Beers Oriental Art, London, on 7th November 2011, a copy of the original invoice is available.
